Music of the month: December 2014

Hi guys!

I love making lists and I love music. That's why I make playlists on Spotify every month. I thought it would be a nice idea to share my 3 favourite songs of the month and give you the oppurtunity to listen to my playlist as well!

Cold December Night - Micheal Bublé
Somewhere in November, Micheal Bublé's christmas album catched my eye and from that moment, I played it literally every single minute until Christmas. This album just gives you all the Christmas feels you need. 'Cold December Night' isn't your usual Christmas carol, but it's my favourite song on this album. I think it's such a cute, happy song and it hits the spot for when you want to feel festive. Christmas is 6 days ago but I still listen to this song daily. (that's actually really pathetic, if you think about it haha!)

The Hanging tree - Jennifer Lawrence ft. James Newton Howard
I went to see Mockingjay last week and it was so good! ! I have been obsessed with the Hunger Games series ever since I saw the first part. I read some bad reviews about the newest film, but I loved every single second of it and I would definitely go to the cinema to watch it again. I am not going to spoil any juicy details, but when this song came on, I had the chills everywhere. Jennifer's acting skills are on point, but her singing qualities aren't bad either! She isn't the new Beyoncé ofcourse, but her raw voice fits this song perfectly.

Blank Space - Tyler Ward (cover)
Ladies and gentlemen, Tyler Ward has done it again! This acoustic cover of Taylor Swift's 'Blank Space' is amazing. I came across this song yesterday but it has been on replay ever since. His beautiful voice combined with the guitar is just perfect!

Happy new year's eve, have fun and stay safe!

A new beginning

Hi guys!

Last night, I was thinking about my resolutions for the new year. Ofcourse, all the cliché things like 'get organised' and 'lose weight' popped up into my mind, but I wanted to do something more creative. So here I am, writing my very first blog post!

I am super excited about creating this place where I can write about all the things that interest me, but mostly I want something where I can share my memories on. I want to be able to look back at this blog in a few years and laugh about all the things I said and did right now. I want to meet new people who like the same things as I do and I want to inspire you!

My new year's resolutions will still include getting organised and losing weight, (isn't that what everyone wants, uh?)  but I hope that I will still be writing and sharing my life with you next year. I am full of ideas and I can't wait to share them all with you guys :)

What are your resolutions for 2015? Let me know!

Love, Elisa
